"The Traveling Wall"
Jun-10-04, 02:30 PM (CST)

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the men and women who not only gave their lives in past wars but that are putting their lives on the line even today to keep the freedom ringing!
I got a chance to guard the Traveling wall while it was here and I must say that the group of people I worked with was very well put together and seemed to work with flawless ease.
I would also like to thank Mr. Zirjacks for getting the Wall here and all who helped him in that area too! I was overwhelmed at the number of names on the half size replica, now this next Wednesday I am flying to go pick up my daughter from Maryland and I am going to see the actual wall. I have a feeling it will be even more overwhelming.
I hope everyone got a chance to go see the traveling wall, and donate so that they can keep this proud memorial moving around the country! Thank you all.

Just got back from the Wall. That is amazing how many gave their lives for our freedom. It was moving. One day i hope to visit the Wall in DC and also Arlington Cemetary.

I just got back from D.C. saw all the sights and everything is amazing! I did get to the wall and they had one half of it, the east half, was closed because they were having to add names which meant they were having to sandblast and reingrave, so that kind was kind of a bummer. But i saw all the monuments and statues and cemetaries you can think of, plus Gettysburg. I recommend anyone to go to D.C. or Gettysburg for a vacation and learn about that famous 3 day war where 51,000 Americans all lost there lives. anyhow, i am home now and am glad to be nestled back in this little hole in kansas,,
