iolaismyhome 3 posts "Lawyers - something that you might want to know..." Jun-20-09, 10:48 AM (CST) I was just looking for a lawyers in Iola and ran across the following. Looks like this consumer advocacy group rates just about every lawyer is Iola as a looser. http://assocforhonestattys.com/html/lawyers_to_avoid_consider.html Does anyone know a good lawyer in Iola? Jun-30-09, 12:07 PM (CST) based on the plethora of lawyer jokes in the world, i would venture to guess that finding a good lawyer is not restricted to iola. just like any profession whether legal, medical, or other, people are people. some are conscientious, efficient, honest, etc. others are there either to take the money and run or to see how they can use the system for their personal betterment. why spend all the negative energy on something that is already a given? Do they honestly think that those lawyers and doctors are going to join their group and be put on probation for one year and then if they say ,do, and act as they are expected to by this group , they will be acceptable. How ludicrous. You should consider the source of who these self appointed character judges are. I am not saying that any certain lawyers and doctors are above reproach , but let's get real. I haven't a clue on who he is but noticed that his name came up on a list of lawyers that weren't on the posted site. To me that only meant he was a half a step ahead of those already on the list. In the late 80's I did get a judge a little pissed at me & was told I was excused from jury duty. Funny, I've never been called for jury duty since then either. I know some lawyers that I attended high school with but I do my best not to rub elbows with lawyers, politicians or those that make more money than I do. I listed Talkington because people I know speak highly of him and they use his services. The others I listed, weren't on the list of bad lawyers which gives them about a half of a notch over those that were on the list of being bad. Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
