It is time once again for the Annual Farm-City Days Celebration!
33rd Annual Farm City Days
Theme: "Partners in Progress" Celebrating the Iola Area's Agricultural and Business Industries
Wednesday, October 13th through Saturday, October 16th, 2004

Lewellen Carnival North Side of the Iola Square $15 Arm Band Nights Wed, Thurs, Fri and 2 times on Sat

Thursday evening, Oct 14

Family Fun Night sponsored by the Lewellen Carnival and the FCD's committee Hamburgers and drinks provided for families and children. Bar Judah, Christian Rock Group will be performing 6 - 8 p.m. Bring your own blankets or lawn chairs no seating is provided.

Friday evening, Oct 15

Picnic on the Square Sponsored by the Allen County Farm Bureau 5 p.m. - Donations Accepted Music by Terry Whetstone Bring Lawn Chairs and enjoy

CINDERELLA performed by the Allen County Community College Drama Department Bowlus Fine Arts Center, 7:30 p.m. each night - Tickets available at the Iola Pharmacy

The Plainsmen - Old West Re-enactments - central/west side of the Iola Square Sponsored by the Farm City Days Committee, 620-365-5252

Artisan Demonstrations - southeast section of the Iola Square in the Big Tent Ray Shannon, chairman, 620-365-8084

Christian Youth Rodeo - sponsored by the Allen County Rough Riders 4-H Horse Club, on Saturday and Sunday, Oct 16 & 17 at Riverside Park beginning at 1 p.m. both days

Allen County Historical Museum - west side of the Iola Square
Funston Boyhood Home & Museum - west side of the Iola Square Open 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 (closed during the parade) and 2 to 4 p.m.

Horseshoe pitching tournament - Riverside Park - 9:30 a.m. Sponsored by the Riverside Horseshoe Club

MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT - south of the new jail
9:30 a.m. - Iola High School Singers
10 a.m. - Allen County Community College Jazz Band
10:30 a.m. - Old Time Fiddlers & Pickers (no music during the parade)
2 - 4 p.m. - Second Chance Band

PARADE 1 p.m. The traditional Farm City Days Parade begins at 1 p.m. and travels around the square. Sponsored by Haldex Brake Products and Alco Implement and their employees.
